On May 5th, Delray Beach became the largest city in Palm Beach County to pass a resolution opposing AAF. Over the last 16 months, FNAA volunteers have educated tens of thousands of residents on the east coast of Florida about AAF and gathered over 33,000 signatures by reaching out to residents along the FEC rail line. For their efforts against AAF, FNAA thanks Citizens Against The Train (CATT) for 386 signatures and a TV ad campaign that was seen from Palm Beach to Indian River Counties; and CARE FL, which has raised many legal questions surrounding All Aboard Florida and will take our fight to the courts.
FNAA believes AAF should use private funding, as it is a privately-owned company by the New York hedge fund manager, Fortress Investment Group. Over the past 16 months, many issues have been brought to light thanks to the opposition. United, we will change the course of All Aboard Florida.
